We will celebrate the arrival of the Wise Men who followed the star to Bethlehem. As they brought gifts to Jesus, we will receive the gifts Jesus gives to us in Holy Communion. Be prepared to be royal that day!
We are collecting new and unwrapped items for Shelter Inc. families in need with small children. Items will be brought up during the Wise Men Processional.
You can bring Diapers and Pull Ups, Baby Wipes, Gallon zip lock freezer bags, car seats, sit to stand walkers, tummy time mates, sensory toys for babies, Play dough sets, bilingual board books (English/Spanish) Doodle writing boards, Ride on toys, Duplo block sets, large knob puzzles, educational toys or gift cards for Amazon, Walmart, Target, Uber or McDonalds.

Join us on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, Oct 8, Nov 12, Dec 10 for an easy dinner, a time for adult break-out presentations, meetings, and/or just fellowship time. This is a fun way to connect with other families at Southminster. We even provide childcare if you’d like to join one of our adult activities after we eat. All friends and neighbors are welcome! Make sure to check our food sign-up sheet outside of the sanctuary for our monthly theme and to see what you can bring. Kathie Lee Gifford invites you to join her as she visits sites in Israel that have impacted her life. As she shares her story, Rabbi Jason Sobel, a messianic Jewish rabbi who was trained in the ancient rabbinical way, provides fascinating background into the language, culture and heritage making the New Testament come alive.
In this four-session video series and small group discussion, you can walk with Kathie on her journey through the spiritual foundations of her faith. You’ll learn more about the Rock (Jesus Christ), explore the Road (Israel), and dig deeper into the Bible with the Rabbi (God’s Word).
Something profound happens when we follow along the ancient path in the actual places where Jesus was born, where He taught, healed, lived, died and where He was resurrected into heaven.
