Please join us March 2nd at 11:15 AM in the Pierce Room. Mount of Olives: The Triumphal Entry
As we prepare for Lent which begins with Ash Wednesday March 5th, we will continue the series we started during Advent, 2024. We’ll again join Kathie Lee Gifford invites us to join her as she visits sites in Israel that have impacted her life. As she shares her story, Rabbi Jason Sobel, a messianic Jewish rabbi who was trained in the ancient rabbinical way, provides fascinating background into the language, culture and heritage making the New Testament come alive. Many people expressed how much they had learned from the first 4 lessons we shared in Advent.
This will be lesson 5 from the video series which takes us to Jesus’ Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem the week before he was crucified and then resurrected on Easter Sunday. We’ll Kathie share about her journey through the spiritual foundations of her faith. We’ll learn more about the Rock (Jesus Christ), explore the Road (Israel), and dig deeper into the Bible with the Rabbi (God’s Word). After watching the video, we will have small group discussion about what new thoughts came to mind as we watched.
Something profound happens when we follow along the ancient path in the actual places where Jesus was born, where He taught, healed, lived, died and where He was resurrected into heaven.

Join Jacquelyn Casazza, President and Co-founder of Go Green Glen Ellyn, for a compelling talk on the hidden danger of microplastics—tiny particles now found in our food, water, air, and even human blood and lungs. Drawing on science and real-world impacts, Jacquelyn explains how microplastics harm ecosystems and threaten human health through inflammation, disease, and long-term exposure. This is more than an environmental issue; it’s a human health emergency. Find out how you can be a part of the solution.
