Drop off Children ages 10 months-12 years for fun while parents go out! Friday, December 1st from 5:30 -8:00 pm.

John the Baptist will help guide us to “Prepare the way for the Lord” 

During this Advent season our Sunday, 11 AM adult ed class will watch and discuss videos based on Adam Hamilton’s book Prepare the Way for the Lord. 

During these 4 lessons we will discover deeper meanings regarding how John the Baptist’s life and ministry resonated in the Jewish/Roman world which existed during Jesus’ life. 

We will learn that the Advent Season today is not only a time to prepare for the coming of the baby Lord Jesus but also a time for us to contemplate and prepare ourselves for our Lord Jesus’ second coming. 

Due to the fact that this year’s Advent Sundays fall on key days (December 17 is SPCs Children’s Pageant, Dec 24 is Christmas Eve), we will start this series 1 week early and the final lesson will be offered as a zoom only evening.

It is practiced at a relaxed pace appropriate for all experience levels, and includes quiet reflection at the beginning and end of each class. Simply bring a mat and an open heart! A zoom option is available, class is held in the Chapel.
