Fall Sabbath for Women

Finding Peace Within

Friday, November 1, 6:30-8:00pm 

In the Chapel at Southminster

In the midst of these divisive times, it’s important to center ourselves in God’s divine wisdom.  Gift yourself with an evening sabbath and gather with other women to experience stilling breathwork, visualization and centering prayer amidst autumn candlelight.

BREATHE (Rob Bell):  Do you ever think about taking a breath? Have you thought about your breath from a spiritual perspective? A rabbi once stated that saying the name of God, Y-H-V-H, could be compared with the sounds of breathing.

Please join us in the Pierce Room on November 3, 2024, for a video and discussion, regarding our breathing. Learn how an awareness of each breath we take can slow us down and connect us with our LORD and Savior.

Join us on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, Oct 8, Nov 12, Dec 10 for an easy dinner, a time for adult break-out presentations, meetings, and/or just fellowship time. This is a fun way to connect with other families at Southminster. We even provide childcare if you’d like to join one of our adult activities after we eat. All friends and neighbors are welcome! Make sure to check our food sign-up sheet outside of the sanctuary for our monthly theme and to see what you can bring.  Free-will offering is optional, but gladly accepted to help fund these monthly gatherings. DINNER 6:00-6:45, ADULT PROGRAMING & FREE-PLAY 6:45-8:30pm  WE HOPE YOU CAN JOIN US!
