We offer a complete preschool experience with guided curriculum designed to meet the academic and social/ emotional growth of the young child. It is our goal to prepare young children with all the skills they will need as they grow in loving, fun, safe atmosphere. At Southminster, children learn and play, day by day as they are equipped with the social, emotional, and academic skills needed to be successful in school. We are proud to have a staff that genuinely cares for each child and works individually and in groups to guide your child through the early childhood years. Teachers are current in First Aid/ CPR, have been background checked, have degrees /experience in education. Our school is open to all religious traditions and no religious traditions. All services and events are open to our families regardless of their background. Southminster is proud to have been nurturing children for 27 years.

Classes:

PDO is offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. during the regular school year. Children are grouped according to age in the following classes:

10 – 22 months
22 months to 2 years of age
2 1/2- 3 years of age
3 years of age
3 3/4-5 years of age Kindergarten readiness is emphasized in this class.

Fees:

The annual fee of PDO is broken down into monthly payments for ease of tracking. Monthly days of attendance will fluctuate. This is a nine-month program. Two months tuition is paid upon registration in the fall. One month tuition is non-refundable. After July 1, 2024, no refunds are issued. Tuition is due on the 28th of the month prior to your child’s schedule attendance. Late charges apply after the 2nd of the month. ($20.00) Returned check fee is $28.00. Fees are not prorated for missed days, illness, or vacations, government mandated shut down. May 2025 tuition is non refundable. Payments can be made online, in person, or by mail.
