Join Jacquelyn Casazza, President and Co-founder of Go Green Glen Ellyn, for a compelling talk on the hidden danger of microplastics—tiny particles now found in our food, water, air, and even human blood and lungs. Drawing on science and real-world impacts, Jacquelyn explains how microplastics harm ecosystems and threaten human health through inflammation, disease, and long-term exposure. This is more than an environmental issue; it’s a human health emergency. Find out how you can be a part of the solution.

The Anthropocene Reviewed by John Green
Humans can be too powerful as well as lack in power. Our power reshapes Earth’s climate and biodiversity, yet we are not powerful enough to choose how we reshape them. We can travel to space, but fail to end human suffering. Funny, complex, and rich with detail, the book, using a series of essays, identifies the contradictions of contemporary humanity. The Anthropocene Reviewed is an open-hearted exploration of the paths we forge and an unironic celebration of falling in love with the world.
