Get away to COME FROM AWAY!

Join us on Friday, October 2nd to Saturday, October 3rd at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort for a getaway that includes seeing the musical “Come From Away” at the theater Friday evening, staying in the hotel that eventing and then breakfast and a sabbath retreat Saturday morning until noon.

We will meet at 6:30 for an optional meet-up in the lobby bar and the show starts at 7:30 pm Friday Night.

Saturday morning will include chair yoga, a lovely catered buffet breakfast and a sabbath spiritual gathering led by Kari Sealund and Kathy Gudonis.

Cost: &295 per person for show, private room & breakfast and retreat. ($275 early bird price unit 9/1) $180 per person for show, breakfast, and sabbath if you have a friend or family member to share your room ($160 early bird pricing until 9/1) $50 per person for Saturday breakfast and program without overnight stay or show.

We will resume our Bible 101 study together on Tuesday, September 22^nd at 2 p.m. in the Oasis, meeting every other Tuesday afternoon in the Oasis. Our focus will be I Corinthians, since the Corinthian church is most like our contemporary churches. Everyone is welcome! Read a little or read a lot in preparation, Since it’s not possible to read the text of the Bible without an understanding and appreciation of its context as well as ours, we will also explore the history and culture of Corinth. Join us! And no question is too simple, not even What does the word Bible mean? This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the Bible from our own Pastor!
