On November 17th, during our GIFT hour, our Rainbow Conversation Team will present a powerful video and discussion. “Through My Eyes” provides an honest look at the lives and struggles of young LGBTQ+ Christians: what they really think, how they perceive the church, and what they wish other Christians knew. Over two dozen Christian youths courageously and honestly share their private feelings, struggles, and experiences with the hope their stories might make a difference. Created for Christians by Christians, Through My Eyes tackles one of the most controversial topics today with compassion and sensitivity, shining new light on the debate for people on both sides. It’s unlike anything you’ve seen before.
We hope you join us to continue the conversation. We feel it will be an experience you won’t soon forget.The Rainbow Conversation Team

Join us on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, Oct 8, Nov 12, Dec 10 for an easy dinner, a time for adult break-out presentations, meetings, and/or just fellowship time. This is a fun way to connect with other families at Southminster. We even provide childcare if you’d like to join one of our adult activities after we eat. All friends and neighbors are welcome! Make sure to check our food sign-up sheet outside of the sanctuary for our monthly theme and to see what you can bring. “the ROCK, the ROAD, and the RABBI” Come to the Land Where it all Began
Kathie Lee Gifford invites you to join her as she visits sites in Israel that have impacted her life. As she shares her story, Rabbi Jason Sobel, a messianic Jewish rabbi who was trained in the ancient rabbinical way, provides fascinating background into the language, culture and heritage making the New Testament come alive.
In this four-session video series and small group discussion, you can walk with Kathie on her journey through the spiritual foundations of her faith. You’ll learn more about the Rock (Jesus Christ), explore the Road (Israel), and dig deeper into the Bible with the Rabbi (God’s Word).
Something profound happens when we follow along the ancient path in the actual places where Jesus was born, where He taught, healed, lived, died and where He was resurrected into heaven.
